Shipping & Delivery Information

We support the United States Post Office 100% and we trust them with our shipments. We support the Post Office not only because of their excellent track record but because we believe in America and the age old institute that is "The Post Office". However during the current times with the global pandemic their Priority Mail service has become unreliable during times and we suggest using their Express Service.

Baking Time

Please allow us at least a few business days (typically 2 business days, this is displayed in the options on the product pages themselves) to custom create your order because each product is made only after you order it so products will not sit around on a rack and your order will be fresh as possible when delivered/shipped. If you would like to expedite your order so it is delivered/shipped in faster time there is an additional fee depending on which expedition option is available at that time (any shipping charges to have your order shipped USPS is an additional fee and expediting fees change based on order volumes), expediting your order will move your order ahead of the other orders that have not paid the same fee. The reason why it takes this long to create your order is to ensure that when your order is delivered it will be of the freshest of quality. Some of our products need to set over night to solidify such as our cheesecakes this is why our daily cutoff time is 5PM CST.

Local Delivery in St. Louis, MO & Metro East

Our local hand delivery covers all of the St. Louis, Missouri and Belleville, Illinios area along with surrounding towns. We are currently based out of St. Louis, Missouri and offer a base local delivery of $6 to these customers, additional mileage is charged at a different rate. Non-Deliverable St. Louis Hand Deliveries

It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that all delivery information is provided upon purchase. If there is a gate code, door code, wrong address, time restrictions or some other obstacle that our delivery people must overcome this information must be provided prior to the delivery date. If upon arrival we encounter any obstacles not given to us previously, we will first call the recipients phone ( when provided ), if nobody answers we will contact the billing phone ( when provided ), if neither party can be reached we will take the order back to the kitchen. An additional delivery fee will be required for an additional delivery and that fee will be the same as initially charged, no discounts will be given for this additional delivery. No refunds or store credits will be offered if we are unable to deliver your order under said circumstances or any others that are out of our control. United States Postal (USPS) Priority Express (Shipping 1-2 Business Days)

We always suggest using at least USPS Priority Express service as it allows you to get your order within 1-2 days of shipment so you can try to maximum freshness and to make sure your package is delivered in a timely manner. If you are wanting to make sure that your order is delivered within a specific time frame and that you will receive a tracking number with your delivery so you can keep an eye on it, you would want to select this option. The price of this option is based on weight as well as the size of the product and how far it needs to be shipped. We are located in the middle of the country (St. Louis, MO) so most shipments under normal circumstances arrive within 2-business days, but this depends on the location that your order is being sent to. The only way to make sure your order arrives around your specific shipment date is to use this service. If your overnight package does not arrive within 2 business days (with the exception of Hawaii & Alaska) USPS says we can issue a claim with them and as soon as we receive a refund you will also receive a 100% refund on your shipping (less the cost of handling/packaging/any additional costs). If a product is damaged during shipping you can submit a claim to the Post Office to try and claim the insurance that is included in all shipments. No Sunday deliveries, in most areas. United States Postal (USPS) Priority Shipping

USPS Priority delivery is the main delivery option offered and is the cheapest of all the shipping options however it is the slowest and is not guaranteed. This option has a varying price based on weight/shape of box and shipping distance, these options will be given to you via a live feed from the USPS website during checkout after you enter in your shipping address. Included within the shipping price are insurance, tracking and delivery confirmation. No refunds at any point for any reason after shipment. USPS does not guarantee nor do we that the shipment will arrive within 1-3 business days, however they do their best to get your shipment in the time that is estimated. If there is an issue with your shipment, we can not be held liable for damages nor delay in delivery times. However you can take your shipment to the post office to claim the insurance (up to $100 each delivery). No Sunday/Holiday deliveries. Please check USPS.com for shipping exception notices.

*During this time USPS is delaying packages due to COVID-19 and we can not be held responsible for this delay as we package everything to last at least 3-4 weeks in the mail.

Inclement Weather

Because of our location in St. Louis, MO the weather can be quite rough at times which may delay the ability to ship the products safely. We want to make sure that our delivery staff does not have to unnecessarily risk themselves during these dangerous times. We really do apologize about any inconveniences that our local weather might cause (snow/ice/tornadoes). We will apologize for any delays that you might incur during these times, we hope you appreciate and understand the situation.

Hot Weather/Heat Warning

We offer cold shield's & ice packs with every order that we are able to ship which is mostly cakes as well as chocolate of every type. If it's over 72 degrees Fahrenheit between St. Louis Missouri and your final shipping destination, we suggest using 1-2 day shipment time in addition to the cold shield's & cold packs. We offer the longest lasting commercial ice packs available and they last between 24-48 hours depending on current temperatures. We cannot not be held responsible for replacing product that was destroyed by weather.

Rioters/Protesters

St. Louis once in a while has issues with individuals overtaking the streets and causing the main post office/distribution center in the city and/or downtown areas to shut down. We apologize beforehand for these instances and we will attempt to ship/deliver your package as soon as physically possible and/or safe for our employees.

Lost/Damaged Shipments

We ship everything within the time frame given on the individual product (typically, depending on your selection) after ordering (excluding Sunday) because we fresh bake/make each order. Each order mailed through USPS is insured and guarantee that your order will arrive to the location you have supplied to us before we ship the item, FedEx orders are not insured. We want to make sure that everyone will receive their order at home or wherever you want it shipped to within the US. We always suggest that the person it is being delivered to should be home the day of shipment to ensure the quality of the product so please contact your recipient of your order. If an order is lost (if the package doesn't arrive within 30 days of shipment) please let us know so we can contact USPS/FedEx right away and we will either issue a refund or we can remake your order depending on the USPS/FedEx response to our inquiries. We want to make sure that all orders arrive on time and we will do everything within our power to make sure that you are 100% satisfied but we can not guarantee that your order will arrive on the specific day of your choosing due to delays in delivery caused by weather or any other factors because it is out of our control once it has left our bakery. If your order arrives damaged and you can take pictures then send them to us, we will be able to claim the insurance (if shipped via USPS) on the product and we will gladly replace it free of charge or give a refund for the amount received from the claim. However, we suggest hanging on to your delivery because the post office might request that you take the order to your local post office to provide proof of damage.

Refunds

Our whole goal as a small bakery is to make sure that every customer is happy with their order. We will do everything in our power to make sure that it's perfect when it's delivered or shipped to the location that has been specified. If you would like a refund we will gladly give a full refund if your order has not yet been baked/made. If your order has been baked/made and not delivered we will gladly work with you for a partial refund, less the credit card transaction fees, cost of the product and creation time. If your order has already been shipped, we are not able to issue a refund. However, this does not include shipping issues, please read the Lost/Damaged Shipments section on this page for information about lost or damaged goods, we can replace your order free of charge with proof of damage supplied to the local recipients post office. For non-baked items there is a 20%-50% restocking fee when not shipped, delivered or picked up locally. There is a sliding scale for restocking fees based on the product itself. For orders that are selected for curbside pickup and never collected will receive a refund less a restocking fee based on how custom the order that was placed. Package refusals will not be refunded as this falls out of our hands due to recipients willingness to accept the package due to any reason.
