Shipping & Delivery Info
We support the United States Post Office 100% and we trust them with 99% of our shipments (1% of our customers request to use UPS or FedEx). We support them not only because of their excellent track record but because we believe in America and the age old institute that is "The Post Office".
Please allow us 72 hours to custom create your order because each product is created after you order it so product will not sit around and will be fresh when delivered. If you would like to expedite your order so it is delivered same or next day there is an additional fee of $5 - $10 depending on which expedition you select during each products checkout, (plus any shipping charges to have items sent overnight or 2-3 day delivered through USPS or UPS) this will allow us to move your order ahead of the rest. The reason why it takes this long to create your order is to ensure that when your order is delivered it will be of the freshest quality. Some of our products need to set over night to solidify like our cheesecakes and fudge (typically).
Local Delivery in St. Louis, MO & Belleville, Illinois
Our local delivery covers all of the St. Louis, Missouri and Belleville, Illinios area along with surrounding towns. We are currently based out of Affton, St. Louis Missouri and offer base local delivery of $5 to these customers, additional mileage is charged at a different rate. Undeliverable Local Deliveries
It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that all delivery information is provided upon purchase. If there is a gate code, door code, wrong address, or some other obstacle that our delivery people must overcome, you must provide this information to us prior to delivery date. If upon arrival we encounter any obstacles not given to us previously, we will first call the recipients phone (if provided), if nobody answers we will contact the billing phone (if provided), if neither party can be reached we will take the order back to the kitchen. An additional delivery fee will be required for an additional delivery and that fee will be the same as initially charged, no discounts will be given for this additional delivery. No refunds or store credits will be offered if we are unable to deliver your order under said circumstances or any others that are out of our control. United States Postal Shipping (USPS)
This services allows you to get your delivery posted overnight via USPS to try and guarantee maximum freshness and to make sure your package is delivered at the right moment typically. If you are wanting to make sure that your option is delivered within a specific time and that you will receive a tracking number with your delivery, you would want to select this option. The price of this option is priced per pound as well as the size of the product. The only way to guarantee a shipment date is to over night your package. If your overnight package does not arrive in the time that USPS says it will we can issue a claim with them and as soon as we receive a refund, you will also receive a 100% refund. No Sunday deliveries.
United States Postal Shipping (USPS) Priority 2-3 Day Shipping
USPS Priority delivery is the main delivery option offered and is the cheapest of all the shipping options. This option has a varying price based on weight and shipping distance and these options will be given to you via a live feed from the USPS website. Included within the shipping price are both insurance and delivery confirmation. USPS does not guarantee nor do we that the shipment will arrive within 2-3 days. No Sunday deliveries.
United States Postal Shipping (USPS) Overnight
If you select overnight delivery a person will need to be at the residence to sign for the delivery. If you select overnight delivery and nobody is there to sign the package will be returned to the post office and unless the receiver signs the postage slip for a return delivery they will need to go to their local post office to pick up the item. No Sunday deliveries.
United Parcel Service (UPS)
We typically do not ship via UPS because of their "bait and switch" shipping offers. They have charged us typically twice the amount as quoted and we will not stand for this type of charge for our customers.
Because of our location in St. Louis, MO. the weather can be quite rough at times. This may delay the ability to ship the products safely. We want to make sure that our delivery staff does not have to risk themselves during these dangerous times. We really do apologize about any inconveniences our local weather might cause (snow/ice/tornadoes).
Any products that are made with items that melt such as chocolate do not ship well within hot weather. We do not suggest shipping these items during these times. We can not be held responsible for replacing product that was destroyed by weather. We do however package all items that can melt with ice packs during these hot times but they will only last about 24 hours so we suggest using overnight shipping.
St. Louis once in a while has issues with individuals overtaking the streets and causing the main post office and/or downtown areas to shut down. We apologize for these instances and we will attempt to ship/deliver your package on time or as soon as possible.
We do ship everything about 1-3 business days (depending on your selection) after ordering (excluding Sunday) because we fresh bake/make each order. Each order mailed through USPS is insured and guarantee that your order will arrive to the location you have supplied to us before we ship the item. We want to make sure that everyone will receive their order at home or wherever you want it shipped to within the US. We always suggest that the person it is being delivered to should be home the day of shipment to ensure the quality of the product. If an order is lost (if the package doesn't arrive within 10 days of shipment) please let us know so we can contact USPS right away and we will either issue a refund or we can remake your order. We want to make sure that all orders arrive on time and as promised and we will do everything within our power to make sure that you are 100% satisfied but we can not guarantee that your order will arrive on the specific day of your choosing due to delays in delivery caused by weather or any other factor because it is out of our control once it has left our bakery. If your order arrives damaged we will be able to claim the insurance on the product and we will gladly replace it, totally free of charge.
Our whole goal is to make sure that you are happy with your order. We will do everything in our power to make sure that it's perfect when it's delivered or shipped to the location you have specified. If you would like a refund we will gladly give a full refund if your order has not been baked. If your order has been baked and not delivered, we will gladly work with you for a partial refund. If your order has already been shipped, we are not able to issue a refund. This does not include shipping issues, please read the Lost/Damaged Shipments section on this page for information about lost or damaged goods, we can replace your order free of charge.
